Write Where You Wander with Thought Fox Writers Den

Our "Write Where You Wander" program is a partnership between the COMO and Thought Fox Writers Den and is designed for children ages 7-12 who have a love for adventure and creativity. Each month, participants will start an engaging exploration of one of the region's most captivating spots. Be inspired by the enchanted garden at the COMO, feel the salty breeze and hear tales of old ships at Mystic Seaport, meet the owls at the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center, and experience art at the Mystic Museum of Art. Then, they will settle in for guided writing inspired by the day's discoveries. This program is perfect for sparking creativity in young minds, fostering a love for writing, and creating family memories. This session is four classes long and will run on: September 22, October 20, November 17, and December 15.
