    MAKER CLUB: 3D PRINTING IN THE COMO MAKERSPACE [Grades 3+]

    Join the COMO Maker Club for access to the COMO Makerspace and equipment including 3D printers and laser cutters! The COMO Makerspace is a space where students can gather to tinker, create, explore, and discover in a collaborative and safe space. Depending upon the project designs, material fees may apply for larger projects.

    HOMESCHOOL MAKER CLUB [Ages 6+]
    Create your own homeschool class in the COMO Makerspace. Classes are led by COMO STEAM Director and centered around the makerspace's collection of 3D printers and laser cutters. Four 75-minute sessions, three student minimum, and eight max. Available Tuesdays and Fridays between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Email v.witte@thecomo.org to schedule and for pricing.

    STEAM FOR SCOUTS [All Ages]
    Scouts can earn their badges at the COMO! The COMO offers opportunities for scouts to earn Pottery and STEAM badges through specialized activities like making pinch pots, 3D printing, and more. Scout leaders should contact Victoria Witte at v.witte@thecomo.org to schedule, based on availability.

  • YOUTH POTTERY ON THE WHEEL [Ages 9-15]
    April 24 - June 15
    Wednesdays 4-6 pm
    In this class students will explore throwing on the wheel, handbuilding, and glazing as they learn and practice creating with clay. By the end of the session, your child will have a wonderful portfolio of finished works. No experience required.

    PRIVATE POTTERY LESSONS [All Ages]
    Private lessons are 120-minute, one-on-one pottery lessons available for beginner to advanced potters. Students can work on a variety of specific projects with instructor. Group lessons are the same base fee with an additional $75 per person to account for clay.

    Member: $90 [1 session], $270 [3 sessions]
    Non-Member: $120 [1 session], $360 [3 sessions]

Discounts

COMO Kids After Care Discount: Receive a 10% discount for all COMO after school enrichment programs if the desired program falls on a day in which they are simultaneously enrolled in COMO Kids using the code "ADDPROGRAM10" when registering. Only applies to program fees.

Sibling Discount: Registrants receive 10% off the second sibling if both children are enrolled in the same enrichment program and session at the same time. Use the code ADDSIBLING10 when registering. Applies to additional registrations only (not applicable to first child’s registration).

Enrichment Program Cancellation Policy:

No refunds or credits will be issued for changes or cancellations within 7 days of the program start. Outside of 7 days, enrichment program fees are eligible to receive COMO credit less a 20% administrative fee. COMO credits will be shown on your online member account and expire a year after they are issued.  If the program has a waitlist and the space can be filled immediately, a refund less a 20% administrative fee can be processed. If COMO cancels a program, refunds will be provided. Make-up dates may be provided at the instructors' discretion if a class is canceled.
